Long blazers totally had a moment back in the early 90s (especially paired with trousers) and this particular hip length jacket is a typical example, but benefits from being Japanese in origin, so is made of very good quality materials!
Made of a navy blue very fine suiting wool, with heavy guipure lace sleeves, this has been cut and sewn perfectly for a smooth tailored look that flares out a bit over the hips. Makes a very flattering silhouette.
Shoulder pads in lining.
Fully lined, including the sleeves.
100% wool
100% viscose (I think) lining
No size labelling that I can see, but this fits up to a UK size 14 (Bust=38 inches (97 cm) Waist=31 inches (77 cm) Hips=40 inches (102 cm)
Garment Measurements;
Bust= 38 inches (97 cm)
Waist= 31 inches (79 cm)
Hips= 42 inches (107 cm)
Length= 29 inches (74 cm)
In great vintage condition- there's a slight abrasion spot to the fabric on the front at hip level, but it wouldn't be noticeable when wearing.
